CASA Colombo is a fabulous 200 year old Moorish mansion charged with inspiration and design delights. The hotel is a retro-chic blend of elegant interiors and intricately carved exterior ornamentation. Many newer design features have been tastefully added, pioneering a new twist in ‘hip fusion hotels’. The CASA has 12 unique suites, all ranging from 500 to 1,000 square feet and are quite possibly the largest in the city.

CASA Colombo offers all the conveniences of home to include total Wifi connectivity, work desks with personal computers, Apple DVD, intelligent ambient lighting and an eclectic selection of loungy in-room tunes are some of the modern conveniences. Even the bed linen has been hand woven of the finest cotton yarns, especially for CASA Colombo.

Entertainment comes from an impressive Nakamitchti music system, there’s also Plasma TV that can be watched from the spacious living room or in bed. More unique however is the CASA music selector. Six genres of carefully selected music from around the world can be played in every room. Guests can choose their preference from a choice of Lazy Jazz, Club, Lounge, Bossa Nova, Chill-out or Café Paris. The eateries feature Tapas in the open air ZaZa Restaurant, trendy Asian Fusion, chilled-out tunes in the ICE Lounge Bar and high tea on the lawn at T Republic.

A very unique feature of this luxury property is its ‘Pink’ swimming pool, supposed to be the only one of its kind in the world.

ACCOMMODATION

At CASA Colombo there are 12 suites each uniquely different in configuration and décor. All the suites have custom designed furniture and interior styling. There are 3 categories of suites – Traveller Suites (8), Corporate Suites (3), and Royal Suite (1). All suites have Nakamitchi hifi entertainment centres and flat screen TVs, Ipod DVD movie player. The Corporate Suites comes with a laptop, Fax/photocopy, business services. The Royal Suite comes with everything including a private Jacuzzi plunge pool

CUISINE

CASA Colombo has a fusion restaurant called HVN, and a wonderful Tapas bar called ZAZA. It has a chilled out lounge bar called ICE CUBE, and a Tea garden called T REPUBLIC. As everywhere else in Sri Lanka, you will be spoilt for choice at meal time.
