Recreating history, the architecture of The Fortress is styled after Galle’s famed Dutch Fort. Naturally modern design forges historic Dutch and Portuguese styles with Sri Lankan motifs, innovative architecture and designer amenities. Rising next to the seaside, the resort’s walls enclose verdant gardens sheltering hammocks, day beds and stunning water features.
