Only 30 minutes from Barcelona, the flight takes place close to Montseny Natural Park. The take-off site is in Cardedeu (25 miles north of Barcelona and the nearest take-off sight from the city). Floating through the air you can enjoy panoramic views of the Pyrenees, Mediterranean Sea, Montserrat, the massifs of Montseny and sometimes even Barcelona itself.

On landing you will be served a champagne toast and brunch as you are presented with your Flight Certificate.

Schedule

Departure Point: Tour departs from centrally located Barcelona hotels. Please advise your full hotel name, address and phone number at time of booking. Please also advise the dates of your stay in Barcelona so that your flight can best be rescheduled if weather is unsuitable on the date booked.

Departure Time: Hotel pickups will be between 6:00am and 7:30am.

All flight times are approximate and subject to change due to weather conditions and weight restrictions.

Return Details: Returns to original departure point between 11:00am and 1:00pm

This was absolutely amazing and I would recommend anyone to do it. The guys were brilliant. We ended up having an exclusive flight as the weather was not good on the planned day of our flight, which was an unexpected bonus. We floated over the Montseny foothills of the Pyrenees on a balmy day hearing nothing but the sound of an occasional barking dog. Below us fields spread out in the valley reminiscent of a Van Gogh painting. The experience was sheer peaceful bliss. At one point we were up in the clouds, an eerie experience and a little cold. The certified operators, who speak several languages, were charming and upbeat. Aside from the trip, I found the processes of inflating the balloon and the descent to be fascinating. I would do this every day if I could!
