The photo looks heavenly…especially at this time of year for me. Our winter in northern Ontario, Canada this year came very early with tons of snow and very cold…I’m not a winter person. I’ve always said someone made a mistake as I should have been born in a semi or tropical area!! :0)
I’ve been to Cancun twice, but not the other locations…what about Playa del Carmen, you didn’t mention that location, or do you not think of it as a great honeymoon spot???
I was there approx. 4 years ago and I loved it. Stayed at the Gran Porto Real…that was the year the sister resort , the Royal was open to customers. Would go back in a heart beat!!!!!! Would acutally love to see what has been done to finish the Royal…it looked spectacular! We booked the GPR … for what ever reason we were given a room at the Royal the first night but due to a foot injury I couldn’t climb the stairs daily so they managed to find us a room on the ground floor at the GPR. (the elevators were not in operation at the time, can you imagine they had to cart the luggage up the stairs)
If I make it back to Playa del Carmen I would definitly stay a the GPR again…not sure about the Royal, as I prefer the smaller, more itimate resort feel…while the GPR is not small it has that feel! I don’t have any plans to visit in the near future but maybe some day!!!
Cheers
