The old legend of the islands is hidden in it’s name which is comes from the old Greeks hunting for deer and subsequently naming the islands the Deer islands.
Green Islands is beautiful with gardens full of oranges and lemons, lovely seashore landscapes, charming and picturesque villages with harmonious architecture of summer manors, old seaman’s houses and little votive churches. Lovely full day excursion, three islands visited, time to explore, time to swim in the crystal clear Sea and a fish lunch with wine thrown in too. What made it extra special was our boat was a wooden galleon, looked brilliant in the photo’s moored at the islands.
