Arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled departure so your climb leader can explain the route and the all-important safety procedures. A climb simulator will help you prepare for the adventure ahead, then once you are attached to the static line, your climb experience begins!
The climbs depart every 20 minutes from base headquarters at Kangaroo Point. The incline is at its greatest as you make your way to the Summit Top Platform, one of the two high points of the climb, each approximately 262 feet (80 meters) above sea level. It’s from here that you will first experience the awe-inspiring 360-degree view of Brisbane, its river and surrounding mountain ranges. From the central platform you’ll traverse the width of the bridge, high above six lanes of traffic!

Fabulous experience all around! I had booked this climb so I could have some special bonding time with my 13 year old son. Needless to say he was not overly excited as I discussed with him what I had planned! This changed somewhat as we were introduced to our guide, changed into our climbing gear and commenced our tour. Our guide provided a great, lighthearted and informative introduction to the history of both the bridge and Brisbane city. Well done!
