Dinner is a gourmet barbecue of Australian delicacies such as kangaroo, barramundi, crocodile and buffalo, served with bush condiments including bush tomato chutney, lemon myrtle, native mint, wild lime and wattleseed.

After dinner, you’ll sit back and take in the mystery of the desert at night as an astronomer takes you on a tour of the southern night skies. Sounds of Silence is the winner of the 1997 and 1998 Australian Tourism Awards for Australia’s best tourism restaurant.

Departure Point: Tour departs Ayers Rock Resort including Sails in the Desert, Desert Gardens Hotel, Emu Walk Apartments, Lost Camel Hotel, Outback Pioneer Hotel & Lodge and Ayes Rock Campground

Departure Time: Tour departs approximately 45 minutes prior to sunset.

Hotel pickups commence prior to this time, exact pickup time will be advised on reconfirmation.

Return Details: Tour returns to original departure point approximately 3 hours after departure
