Lilianfels sits adjacent to the Three Sisters which are located in the World Heritage Listed Blue Mountains National Park. The Three Sisters symbolise the stature and pride of the Blue Mountains – towering escarpments, wide, deep blue-hazed valleys, incomparable views and impenetrable depths- they are awe-inspiring.
The historic home ‘Lilianfels’, built in 1889, has been transformed to its original splendour and now houses the award-winning restaurant, Darley’s named after the original owner. Set in two acres of English-style gardens, the adjoining 86 room Country House, opened in 1992, has been designed in line with the architecture of the heritage home, offering all the facilities and comforts of a world class retreat.
ACCOMMODATION
At Lilianfels, you can be yourself whilst enjoying all the creature comforts of an exclusive luxury retreat. From the crispest sheets and fluffiest towels to the individually decorated guest rooms, no detail has been overlooked.
Sink into an extra deep bath and luxuriate in a moisturising milk treatment. The marble bathrooms offer separate bath and shower, while each room features views over the English style gardens, or the majestic views of Echo Point’s vast mountains and plunging valleys.
Decorated in lush fabrics including organza and silk, the 85 boutique rooms are themed in lavish pink, green or lilac. The sumptuous floral designs bring the outdoors in, inviting you to curl up and wile away the hours.
Deluxe Room
These comfortable rooms are found on each floor within the hotel. Deluxe rooms look out over charming yet contrasting views of either the beautiful English style gardens or the superb mountains of the Jamison Valley.

Deluxe Room – Valley View
The stunning views over the heritage listed Blue Mountains and the Jamison Valley are the reason guests request these rooms time and time again. The quiet serenity of the scene is enhanced by the quality décor within the room all in calming hues.
There are 22 Deluxe Valley View rooms.
Suites
Lilianfels has four suites, distinguished by their individual character: Nellie’s Glen, Mini Mini Saddle, Cloudmaker and Kanangra. Nellie’s Glen has a stunning garden view while the other suites overlook the Jamison Valley.
All suites have a separate sitting room and bedroom. Mini Mini Saddle and Cloudmaker each have their own sitting room with sofa, dining room table, antique secretaire, armoire, CD player and bathroom with spa bath. Both of these suites have an interconnecting room next door allowing them to be transferred into a 2-bedroom suite.

CUISINE
Darley’s Restaurant
Steeped in history, Darley’s Restaurant is set in the heritage listed, original homestead of Frederick Darley, the sixth Chief Justice of NSW and is a tribute to a bygone era.
Executive Chef, Hugh Whitehouse’s Modern Australian cuisine is served in a romantic space that features beautiful stained glassed windows, original ornate fire places, crystal chandeliers and offers guests a breathtaking view of the surrounding gardens and the Jameson Valley.
Adjoining the main dining room, there are two individually decorated private dining rooms which capture an intimate sense of privacy – perfect for a special event or celebration.
Darley’s was awarded a coveted ‘Chef’s Hat’ and named ‘Regional Restaurant of the Year’ at the 2008 Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Awards and for 2009, has been bestowed a second chef’s hat.
The extensive wine list offers vintage wine sourced locally from Mudgee and Orange as well as wines from other top Australian wineries and a selection of international wines.
Hugh’s dedicated team serves dinner from 6.30pm from Tuesday to Saturday and a leisurely brunch and lunch on Sunday.
Tre Sorelle
Tre Sorelle Restaurant is located in the main Country House overlooking Lilianfels’ delightful gardens.
Furnishings, like the menu in this restaurant are welcoming and casually elegant. Offered is a classic medetarianian cuisine, with dishes such as pan fried potato gnocchi with slow cooked duck and spinach.
The restaurant is open Friday to Monday from 6.30pm and reservations are recommended. A delicious children’s menu is also available.
The Lounge
The Lounge invites guests to relax in plush Victorian armchairs, curl up by the fireplace with a book, or simply gaze out over the spectacular views of the Jamison Valley. Afternoon tea is served in grand tradition daily and a stylish mahogany bar is the perfect setting for pre-dinner drinks.
The Lounge offers all day dining from 10 am to 10 pm, sumptuous afternoon teas and refreshments served both inside and outside in the adjoining garden.
The Spa
The Spa at Lilianfels is a sacred space of care and serenity where guests are supported to discover their natural state of peace and calmness. Let built up stress melt away, experience exquisite spa treatments and be truly cared for by highly trained therapists.

Getting there
Lilianfels is approximately 2 hours drive from Sydney along the F4 Freeway to the foot of the Blue Mountains. At the end of the freeway the road becomes the Great Western Highway which leads all the way through the Blue Mountains. At Katoomba follow the brown tourism signs to Echo Point
